I didn't realize that I would finish the lace project today. She's blocking right now.
The Details:
Pattern: Lace Poncho from IK Fall 2005 -- free pattern!
Yarn: Cascade 220 in a camel color. It's really more goldy-tan than the picture lets on. 2 skeins.
Needles: Knitpicks Options US 8
Size while blocking: 14-18" x 53-55"
Started: December 31, 2007
Completed: January 13, 2008
Modifications: I only did 8 pattern repeats instead of the required 9. I could have probably squeezed another 1/2 pattern repeat out of the yarn. Also, I am not planning on sewing it into a poncho shape.
Whee!

Can't wait to see when she's done blocking!
It looks great, and wow, that was fast! So no poncho? Will it end up as a stole?
OMG that is beautiful! Both color and pattern are great! I do so want to knit lace but I always mess it up, keep forgetting some yo or something else... You can be proud of yourself!
That is beautiful. I am still working on that &%#@*% Swallowtail Shawl. I wish I could knit lace like you do.

Having seen this up close and personal (before blocking) I can vouch for the beauty and softness, a Very Good Knit, well done!
