Wee it's soo tiny!

I finished my Wee Tiny Sock just in time for tomorrow's mailing. Originally I was going to do it in the Claudia that I've been using for the Jaywalkers but I wanted something different -- I love the Claudia but I feel like I've been knitting with it forever. And since I just bought three skeins of Panda Cotton, I thought I'd see how it knits up before I start my next pair of socks.
This particular color is Fall Herbs.
I also picked up some Lorna's Laces. I've never used it before and I can't wait to give it a go.
Another look at the itty bitty sock.

It's soo Wee Tiny!

This weekend Tony and I are going to OKC. We're going for a friend's b-day but really that's just a good excuse to check out the yarn shops in a bigger city.

OH! and as for Idol: snore. It's a battle between Melinda and Lakeisha. I'll keep watching it but I just cant be bothered to score all the losers. We'll just say everyone gets 3-/2+ except Melinda and Lakeisha and they both get 10's across the board.

I'm with you on Melinda and Lakeisha.

So...how's that Panda Cotton working out? I have some Sockotta that's cotton, wool, nylon and although I love the colours I really am not liking the way it feels knit up. So, where did you find that?

Love the bitty socks.

Thanks, Marianne. I got the Panda Cotton from Loops. I like the silky shiny feel of the material but as I've experienced with all cottons (and cotton blends) it can be a bit splitty especially if you have to frog any part of it -- for some reason, it just doesn't hold it's twist. I had some trouble getting through the first row and had to re-CastOn three times. Each time I had to cut away the old cast on because the yarn was just too splitty. But overall, I think they'll make some nice summer socks.

I am the lucky recipient of that wee tiny sock, and I plan to frame it and have it in my office. Thanks again
