The socks are done! Currently, they are at Emma's drying on her flat, wooden feet.
Since I need more practice knitting in the round and there was nobody around, I made this quick wristband with some leftovers. The pattern called for sport weight yarn on 3.75mm dpns, but all I had was some Sugar 'n Cream and US 3s so that's what I used. Now I need some more "bored-time" in which to complete the other wrist.
But the biggest news is: The Noro is done! It's finished length is 6 1/2 feet and the stiping is fabulous. The pictures don't show the pattern very well. Basically there is 1x1 ribbing down the middle and the sides are alternating blocks of stockinette and reverse stockinette. Very Manly!
