this beautiful Orchid got to come home and away from all that toxicity.
In knitting news, my Loopy Ewe sock blockers arrived. Here is one with the first of my Roza's Socks on it.

In Gardening news:First, this is an Impatiens that I've had for three years. It winters really well in my east-facing kitchen window. It didn't flower much last year and I don't expect it to this year, but if it's lived this long, then I'm gonna let it keep on keepin' on.
This year's Impatiens. We have a couple of these in the garden -- as always.
This is the third summer for the Clematis and it's doing better than it ever has. I hope it will fill in a little more this year.
We love Petunias and these look like a circus tent which we find very amusing so we planted several.
And finally, Tony painted Soddy's candy-cane walking stick to make him a little more season appropriate. We put him in the middle of some monkey grass; he seems to like it there.

I read that things weren't going well in certain office spaces...I am so glad that the orchid was able to thrive despite the angst. And you and Emma will as well!
