Love is in the air

Thanks for all the kind words; they really mean a lot.

Between Sherby, longer hours at work and frantically trying to finish Tony's Valentine's Day gift, I haven't had much time for blogging.

Thursday morning I decided that it would be possible to knit Tony a V-Day gift. It is quite an ambitious project for someone who works too much (and is a TV junky) to finish in just under a week. I can't tell you just yet what the project is because I still haven't finished it!!! and Tony checks this blog after he gets off work. All he knows is that his gift is late and that it is currently a red, cotton tube. But I will say that it's red and cotton blend and comes from a free pattern I recently received in an email from a popular Internet yarn/pattern/circular needle company. Is that too many clues? He wont figure it out. I hope.

Now the project is a gift for Tony but I think the project is really one of those immerse-yourself-in-too-many-big-projects-so-you-wont-have-to-think-about-your-dead-cat kind of things and when the great, red, cotton beast is finished I'm going to have an irreversible, emotional break. Ahh! Since Tony and I are having our romantic dinner for two on Saturday night, I need this project to last until Sunday.

I promise that I will catch up on everyone's bloggings as soon as I can get out of the knit-hole I've fallen into.

TiAmo's is a favorite of ours...good choice. Have a wonderful evening. Don't let the red cotton beast destroy you. :)
